Arbor Terrace of Morris Plains Opening June 2017
Senior living communities are popping up all around New Jersey as developers seek to serve the state’s aging population.
Arbor Terrace of Morris Plains, the first senior living community in the Construction Pros of NJ portfolio, is set to open in June 2017.
The 82-unit community by Capitol Seniors Housing based in Washington, D.C. will be managed by The Arbor Company, an Atlanta-based senior housing operator with multiple locations in the mid-Atlantic region, including New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
The community in downtown Morris Plains features a three-story building with 35 assisted living units and 26 memory care units, as well as an additional 21 Bridge units for “seniors who need more help than offered by assisted living, but do not yet require full-service memory care.”
Residents of Arbor Terrace will benefit from many support services, including on-site physical therapy and rehabilitation. Amenities will include a bistro, salon and gourmet dining. The location on Speedwell Avenue also offers many perks, such as shops, restaurants and public transportation.
In Mountainside, NJ, Construction Pros has been contracted to work on a second Capitol Seniors Housing community to be managed by The Arbor Company and designed by Meyer architecture and interior design firm.
We anticipate the senior housing market to continue to expand in New Jersey and look forward to being a part of this growing sector. More to come!
